Does seeking for perfection lead to anorexia?

Research suggests that teenage girls can be at risk of developing eating disorders and other mental health problems because they feel pressure to be perfect.

Professor Paechter at Goldsmiths College said that young women can experience loss of confidence because of the expectations they feel from parents and school. Expectations piled on to some girls can lead to binge-drinking and anorexia.
